Is it ok to take expired supplements?

im trying to get back into a workout routine and have some creatine and other supplements i was taking back when i lifted on a dialy basis but noticed that some of them are expired by almost a year. does anyone know if its ok to take them or should i ditch them and get some new stuff. thanks

If anything, they may be a little weak....MAY.

I'd say that you're fine.

The shelf life of most supps is pretty generous. The FDA requires them to post a expired date due to regulations. CrM can be very stable for a while. As long as it has been kept in a dark place, away from heat and general moisture, it's okay to use. THAT BEING SAID, CrM is dirt cheap so buying more won't be a problem.

If it past the exp. date it just may be weaker but still ok to use?

the expiration date is there for a reason dude..i wouldnt risk it

I wouldn't fuck around with expired medication. The FDA runs their guidelines, but as far as taking something that your MD prescribed AFTER it has expired, I would think twice.
